Kate came to Pilates while living in New York City and became certified through Power Pilates in Philadelphia in 2012. With a background in dance, musical theatre, and movement Pilates was a natural transition for Kate.
Still a lover of dance and fitness, Kate loves a variety of workouts from ballet to circuit training, hiking to yoga. She has worked at Uprise Pilates since moving to Los Angeles in 2012. Kate also has a certification in Health Coaching from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where she learned how to coach people on living a clean and healthy lifestyle!

The tower class is designed to incorporate classical Pilates mat exercises along with exercises on the tower (wall unit) for a unique and challenging workout. It’s an efficient way to experience the equipment. You will utilize leg springs, arm springs, the push through bar, and roll back bar to work all parts of your body. The springs will help you identify various muscles as well as provide additional support for a more effective workout. The tower also gives you added resistance for toning, lengthening, and strengthening of your muscles.
